Hermes Constance 18 Nata Swift leather with Rose Gold Hardware - 2021, Z

One of Hermes’ newest color, Nata, which is Portuguese for ‘cream’ is a unique neutral in the brand’s cannon. Warmer than Beton, lighter than Parchment, brighter than Craie, Nata brings the spectrum of white out into the sun. Used here in Swift leather as an 18cm Constance, the color is highlighted even more so by the warm Rose Gold hardware, another new addition from Hermes, which makes this bag particularly special. This Constance is perfect for wearing crossbody during the day, or doubling the strap to wear over the shoulder at night.

The Hermes Constance bag was first designed by Catherine Chaillet in 1959 and was given the name in honor of her fifth child, Constance, having delivered the baby the same day that the first Constance left the Hermes production store. With its leather shoulder strap allowing the bag to hang freely, it soon became the favorite former First Lady of the United States, Jacqueline Kennedy who popularized the Constance amongst Hollywood’s elite.
